BBQ Turkey Burgers


Prep: 10 min | Cook: 15 min

Ingredients:

  • 0.25 cup chopped onion
  • 2 tablespoons BBQ sauce
  • 2 tablespoons dried breadcrumbs
  • 2 teaspoons mustard
  • 0.75 teaspoon chilli powder
  • 1 pound ground turkey

Instructions:

  1. In a large bowl, mix all ingredients unit well distributed.

  2. Divide turkey mixture into 4 equal portions and shape into patties.

  3. Cook in skillet on medium high heat for 5-7 minutes each side until internal temperature registers 165 degrees F. Optionally, cover and melt cheese on patties in the last couple minutes of grilling.

  4. Spread mayonnaise on potato bread buns and toast in skillet.

  5. Assemble burgers in the following order (top to bottom):

  • top bun
  • lettuce
  • tomato
  • potato sticks
  • BBQ sauce
  • patty
  • pickles
  • ketchup
  • bottom bun
